One reason why I haven't felt like posting much is because I don't actually have a house or apartment of my own. I have a room that I'm subletting. So there's not a lot of fun that can be had when I'm limited to four walls and some stuff in the kitchen. It looks like I'll be spending the next year-ish amount of time in a room as well. I'm slowly growing into this adulthood thing, but I'll try and at least buy interesting things to furnish my space.
It's only a phase. I can remember when all my things that weren't in my sister's attic fit into two Army issue duffle bags. Now I have more stuff and more projects than I can handle. I'm not complaining, just saying that time starts to speed up and you'll be in a bigger space before you know it!
ReplyDeleteYes, it does make it hard...but there are lots of home & design bloggers that never ever actually show their own stuff, y'know...and if they do, it's usually a vase with flowers...xx
ReplyDeleteI just read an article in the paper about "Emerging Adults" apparently it is the age from 20-30 and people in that bracket are still sussing out what they want to do with their lives and are often in transitional phases. I remember being like that, and around 24 is when I got my own place (where I've been ever since) it is really a trip to have your own home to decorate! You'll get there and when you do, you will have so many great ideas to work with :-)
